Psalm 107

1 "Acclaim the LORD, for he is good; his love forever lasts."
2 Thus say the ransomed of the LORD, from all their foes secure.

3 He gathered them out of the lands, from north, south, east and west;
4 they'd wandered in the wilderness, no city found to rest.

5 Their strength and life had nearly gone as thirst and hunger pressed;
6 in their distress they cried to GOD: he saved them from their plight.  [1st Refrain]


7 He made the way before them straight, and he became their guide,
   that they might to a city go in which they could abide.

8 GOD's cov'nant love let them acclaim, his wonders done for men: [2nd Refrain]
9 the thirsty ones he satisfies, the hungry fills with good.

43 Whoever would be wise, let him take all these things to heart.
     And let them give their careful thought to GOD's great cov'nant love.
