To others I have judgment done, performing what is right;
O do not then deliver me to my oppressor's might.
Be surety for your servant's good; from proud oppressors free;
your saving help and righteous word my failing eyes would see.
In mercy with your servant deal; your statutes to me show;
I am your servant; wisdom give that I your laws may know.
'Tis time you work, O LORD, for they make void your law divine.
Your precepts therefore more I love than gold, yea, gold most fine.
Concerning all things your commands I therefore judge are right;
and ev'ry false and wicked way is hateful in my sight.
