Psalm 33

	1 You righteous, praise the LORD with joy; It's good that just men praise employ. 2 With thanks the LORD O praise! The harp and ten-stringed viol bring, 3 With skill resounding praises sing; A new song to Him raise.
	4 For upright is Jehovah's word, He does in all His work record His faithfulness and worth. 5 In justice and in doing right Jehovah always takes delight. His mercy fills the earth.
	6 Jehovah's word the heavens made, And all the host of them arrayed His breath has caused to be. 7 He rolls the waters heap on heap; He gathers all the mighty deep In caverns of the sea.
	8 Let all the earth Jehovah fear; Let all that dwell both far and near In awe before Him stand. 9 When He had spoken it was done, And finished was each work begun When once He gave command. 10 He made the nations' counsel vain; The plots the heathen would maintain Jehovah caused to fail. 11 Jehovah's counsel shall endure; His purposes of heart most sure Through ages all prevail. 12 O truly is the nation blest Whose God, before the world confessed, Jehovah is alone; And blest the people is whom He Has made His heritage to be And chosen for His own. 13 The LORD looks forth from heaven high; On sons of men He turns His eye. 14 There seated on His throne He looks to earth on all mankind. 15 As one He fashions every mind; To Him their deeds are known. 16 No king is saved by gathered hosts; No great strength which the mighty boasts His safety can provide. 17 It's vain to trust the warlike steed Which cannot by his strength or speed Achieve the rescue tried. 18 On those who worship Him in fear And trust His loving kindness here The LORD has set His eye, 19 That He may save their soul from death And keep them living by His breath When famine bids them die. 20 Our soul is waiting for the LORD. Our shield, He will us help afford. 21 In Him our heart's elate, Because we trust His holy name. 22 Your mercy, LORD, O let us claim, As we upon You wait. Ravendale tune is good with this.
